From Partials to Full Dentures to Relines We Give Niagara Region a Reason to Smile

Losing your full smile can be an emotional journey. Norbert Gieger DD wants to give you back your freedom to chat with friends, eat family dinners and, of course, to smile brightly at your neighbours in the Niagara Region!

We have many options to help you find your right fit to encourage you to gain back your confidence. If you already have dentures, we have the services and solutions to rehabilitate and extend their life to their full potential.

We provide free consultations that consist of an oral exam to assess the tissue and bone in your mouth. We will help you understand the process of getting your new dentures or explain how we can help fix the comfort of your existing dentures.

Our advance pin tracing accuracy ensures accurate bit determination, as well as determining any physical limitations that exist. This helps us to teach patients how to best use their new dentures. Taking advantage of our experience and techniques helps ensure the best possible results.

Please contact Norbert Gieger DD to see what the best denture option is for your unique situation and lifestyle.

Full Dentures

Full or complete upper dentures are held in place by suction while lower dentures, when made correctly, can in most cases be very stable and functionable. There are two types of full dentures that we may suggest. The first is immediate dentures. These dentures are made before the remaining teeth are removed from the jaw, and the dentures are inserted right away. This is done in cooperation with other health professionals. Norbert Gieger will then help you through the healing and adjustment process until the permanent reline is needed. This can take up to 6 months or more. The second type is conventional dentures and are made and inserted on stabilized gums.

Partial Dentures

Partials or removable partial dentures are used when one or more artificial teeth can be placed in the mouth by clasps. Norbert Gieger will suggest them when nearby teeth aren’t strong enough for a bridge. The clasps ensure easy removal for cleaning and at night, making partials a great solution to filling in the gaps of your smile. This may also include a hybrid solution with implants.

Implant Supported Dentures

Also known as overdentures, implant supported dentures are attached to implants that have been placed into a strong jaw bone. Full dentures rest on the gums, but the jaw may not always have enough bone to support implants for dentures. Ask us during your consultation to ensure implant supported dentures are right for your jaw.

Anti-Snoring Devices

Norbert Gieger DD can also provide you with anti-snoring devices to help address your sleep and snoring problems. The placement of the tongue and jaw can sometimes block your airway, causing you to snore. Snoring can lead to sleep deprivation and impact your daily waking life. We supply anti-snoring devices to help you rest and live life to the fullest when you’re awake.
